Fundraising Progress So Far
Donate now at the Lance Armstrong Foundation secure online site.
As of this moment (9:20 PM CDT, August 5, 2004), people I have solicited have donated (or paid for auction items) $2,708.83. Many thanks to everyone who has donated. Your generous donations will help fund cancer research and education for cancer patients and cancer survivors that can help them deal with the impact of cancer on their lives.
I was also reminded today, by the arrival of a matching gift in my account, that you should check if your company does matching gifts. If so, the LAF says the following:
Double your money! Many companies match their employee’s charitable gifts. Make sure your donors check with their companies HR department to see if the LAF qualifies for a matching gift. Your donor should make their contribution online or via check as usual. Ask them to send the matching gift form directly to our office (do not include the form in the envelope with the donation):

We will fill out the appropriate information on the form and return it to the company for the matching gift. We will verify that the original donation arrived and credit your Peloton account with the pledged amount of the match. We do not need to have the actual payment of the pledge to put the matching gift towards your total.
