Cancer has touched my life too - my own (I have thyroid cancer) and my cousin Liz's (breast cancer). While I cannot financially help you out, perhaps you can do something with bracelets as a fundraiser... Liz sells pink rubber bracelets to raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation that say "Believe" on them. You can order online or by phone. My blog has more information.
