Riding for Roses

The new Lake Creek 24 Hour Fitness at 13802 N Hwy 183 is having an LAF event on Monday, May 2, from 4 PM to 8 PM. They have door prizes (including a Trek bike, an autographed Lance jersey, $240 Bicycle Sport Shop gift certificate) and a Cycle Challenge. They will be donating $24 to the LAF for each hour somebody rides. They have bikes set aside and you can call 249-6724 to reserve one. You do not have to be a member (or pay) to ride. Spencer and I will be there from 5 PM to about 6 PM before we dash off to pick up Jacob at day care. I will be riding. Come by. Visit. Register for prizes. Buy stuff from the LAF booth that will be there. Come see the bald middle aged guy and his peach fuzz haired five year leukemia survivor son, Spencer. Talk to us about cancer. We’ll have lots of liveStrong wrist bands and Ride for the Roses donation forms.
