An intermediate hurdle
As of right now, Spencer has $3,656.13 and we need to reach $3,750 in fundraising by 6 AM tomorrow. That puts him halfway to the intermediate goal of $7,500. Please help today by making a small donation to support cancer survivors and help Spencer reach his goal of raising $25,000 before he celebrates his one year cancer diagnosis anniversary.
The Lance Armstrong Foundation is helping cancer survivors all over in coping with cancer and long term survivorship issues. Your money will help fund education, advocacy, research, and public health programs all over. The LAF funds national programs, including Cancer Care where I am a member of a valuable email support group and participate in educational teleconferences about survivorship issues. These programs have helped me be a caregiver for Spencer in the seven months since he was diagnosed with leukemia. The LAF also funds local programs, includling Wonders and Worries where we are beginning a family counseling program in a week and a half that will teach us to help Spencer deal with the emotional issues of being a child with cancer.
Programs such as these are priceless, but your small (or large) donation to support cancer survivors can help today.
The goal is to raise $93.87 in the next 23 hours. Thank you for your support.
