Riding for Roses

Spencer is in striking distance of his $15,000 fundraising goal for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Your donations will support programs for cancer survivors. Programs supported by the LAF include Austin’s Wonders and Worries which supports children dealing with a life-threatening disease in their family and CancerCare teleconferences which offer information and support for cancer survivors and caregivers. Spencer has $178.12 to go to meet his goal of $15,000, achieving the “polka dot jersey” fundraising level for the Ride for the Roses. Since his initial diagnosis with leukemia (pre-B cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia) on October 22, 2004, raising enough money to get a polka dot jersey has been Spencer’s dream.
