We Made It!
Spencer’s total fundraising went over the $25,000 goal today! He’s achieved the goal we set shortly after his induction chemotherapy started. During the Ride for the Roses weekend, we get to attend several special events, including the jersey ride with Lance and “other special guests”. That was the one Spencer really wanted to get. Thank you to everyone who has donated.
Now to focus on training so we can both manage a 40 mile bike ride.

WAY TO GO SPENCER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and DAD!!!!!
YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must be so proud!!! I’m sure all of your friends and family are very proud of you!!! What an amazing accomplishment!!!!!!! AND you found time to squeeze in Intensive Stage chemo treatments!!!!!!! ......not to even mention you are only 5 years old!!!
You are an inspiration to cancer survivors of all ages!!! Maybe you can create an awareness of Childhood Cancer like Lance created the phenomenal level of awareness of cancer!! You can be the voice of the littlest cancer survivors!! Kids with cancer need support too!!!! I told my son what you did (he had ALL like you) and he thought it was so cool!!
YOU RULE SPENCER!!!!!!
Have a good day,

Spencer, Rob and Rachel,
This is Beth the receptionist at FTH on Saturday’s. Ever since Rob gave me his website, I have been reading avidly all the blogs back from day one. I have laughed and cried and missed seeing your family on Saturday morning’s. I have not donated YET, but my plan was to donate before the ride for the roses, and still will. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited that you not only met you goal but passed it with flying colors. 32,000+, WOW!!!!! It has been, I am sure, only through hard work and tremendous dedication. I couldn’t be more proud of anyone donating so much time and effort to a needy cause. I spoke to JB (of the JB and Sandy show on mix 94.7) and he remembers meeting a young cancer survivor with A TON of livestrong bracelets at 24 hr. fitness that could have only been Spencer. I wish you all the luck at the Ride for the Roses and I will look into volunteering.
You are an inspiration to me,
Beth
