Spencer’s energy is up. His platelets are high enough. His white blood cell counts are still too low for school. It’s activity time! Need to get that boy to burn energy. Today was bike riding day….

We’ve settled into an almost routine. With low ANC (100 at last test), we spend most of the day at home, but go out for a walk, playground, or bicycle ride. At home, we watch shows and do projects. Scooby Doo and Pooh are favorties, though we are branching out to “Out of the Box” [...]
After two months off the bike and six weeks since I last had a serious non-bike workout, it was pretty obvious that the 70 or 100 mile rides would no be a good plan, so I targeted the 40 mile ride keeping heart rate up just to see if I could. Finished fine, albeit slowly. [...]
The ride is tomorrow. Last night, Rachel and I attended the Peloton Appreciation Dinner, an event honoring Peloton Project members and other sponsors. We got to attend because I raised $5150. A summary, then some thoughts:
