everything is going well
I’ve been thinking of re-re-redefining this as being my blog again rather than Riding for Roses
I started SpencerOne as a place for our cancer work
So, if you still visit here or have an RSS subscription, maybe you [...]

KLRU’s Austin NOW is doing a show this week on two Austin cancer survivors. Spencer is one of them. They filmed a couple of typical activities in Spencer’s life – an oncologist visit and a rock climbing class – and interviewed Rachel, Spencer, and me. There was a small problem with the Lance Armstrong Foundation web site recently. Some online donations were not properly credited to Peloton Members. We’ve already identified one donor who gave online over the weekend to Spencer’s account, but the donation did not appear. The LAF has worked with Kintera and the problem appears to be fixed. If you donated money in the last week or two and we did not send you a thank you email, please contact me at rifter05 at robsartin dot com and give me your first and last name. I will forward the list to the LAF so they can work to properly credit your donation to Spencer’s account. Thank you for your kind support.

When I first set this blog up, it was basically my training log for the 2004 Ride for the Roses. I’d done public training logs on charity rides before, but always hosted them elsewhere. Finally got around to using this domain for something useful since I was hosting it on a machine where I had [...]

I am installing WordPress on my blog so I can have comments and have articles be in multiple categories. Pardon the appearance and temporary loss of the old content. As of this posting update, I believe I have migrated all of the original content except for my bicycle training log. My original blog remains online [...]
