Riding for Roses

Donate to support cancer survivors and Spencer’s 40 mile ride in the Ride for the Roses.

Sunday, June 5, 2005, we heald a National Cancer Survivors Day celebration of life at Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Church at 3315 El Salido Parkway; Cedar Park, TX. We had food, information tables about cancer survivorship issues, kid activities, and a donation table for Spencer’s effort to raise $25,000 for the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Spencer was successful and raised over $32,000. We have no current plans for a 2006 NCSD event, but check the Riding for Roses blog for continuing updates about Spencer, cancer, the LAF, and future NCSD events.
